Each location needs its own assessment. Before confirming the work, we check the existing wiring, switching, ceiling access and structural support. An existing light fitting does not automatically mean the position is ready for a ceiling fan.

If additional cabling, a switch change or timber support is required, we explain what needs to be allowed for in the quote. For an alfresco or other outdoor position, the selected fan also needs to suit the installation environment.

Changing from an AC fan to a DC fan

The controls and wiring required depend on the replacement model and the existing installation. We assess the change so the quote reflects the work involved, including any changes needed at the wall switch. What to include in your enquiry

Tell us your suburb, the number of fans and whether each position currently has a light, a fan or no existing fitting. Include photographs of the ceiling positions and wall switches, plus the brand and model if you are supplying the fans.
